- Grid Games Galore was a dream that became reality for Melisa Rice, when, after much persuasion from two colleagues, she decided to start publishing her high school math activities for fellow teachers to utilize in the classroom. Her first workbooks were Grid Games Algebra I and MatchingMania Algebra 1, and because of their success, she started developing math activities for grades K-12. Melisa’s workbooks are in use all over the United States, and some of her activities can be found in the Strategies for Common Core Mathematics series and the Strategic Journeys for Building Logical Reasoning series, both by Leslie A. Texas and Tammy L. Jones.
- Melisa recently retired after 35 years of teaching mathematics in Oklahoma public schools.
